A NEW TOY, MY FERRARI
Louis Vuitton surprised us with his fall/winter 2016-17 men’s collection. On this occasion, Kim Jones, the former art director of the brand, proposed a journey through the New York of the 90s led by the legendary Manhattan brand: Supreme.
With this departure point, we can imagine an even more difficult one, to create a connection between luxury and skateboarding and take it into an iconic luxury product, Ferrari. As if it was a small toy, we took out of its box and enjoyed each of its details. On it, the LV’s monogram is omnipresent and the distinctive red of the NY brand, becomes the main character. The Pineapple magazine requested us an audiovisual and graphic piece to illustrate their article about the relationship between streetwear and luxury.
